The following data was collected from various reports made to the Rutgers University Police, surrounding local police departments and Deans of undergraduate and graduate college programs. Individuals are encouraged to report crimes to the Rutgers Police, but are able to report crimes to any of these other resources. Confidential reporting may be made through the Department of Sexual Assault Services and Crime Victim Assistance as outlined within Safety Matters.

The Rutgers Univ. Police Dept. enjoys an excellent working relationship with neighboring police departments, and thus Rutgers police are ordinarily notified of any significant criminal activity reported to local police involving off-campus student organizations.

1.            Incident addressed by Rutgers Newark Dean of Students.

2.            Reported to and investigated by University Police.

3.            Reported to another police agency and not reported to RUPD as a crime

4.            Incidents were addressed by Housing Administration or Dean of
Students.

5.            Disciplinary referrals.

6.            Arrest/summons.

7.          Reported to other University offices, but not reported or
investigated as a crime.

8.This incident did not involve any Rutgers Faculty, Staff, Students or visitors.
